Floor Pillows are Soft Movable Furniture
Floor pillows are large, comfortable pieces of furniture that can easily be moved to wherever people congregate, or moved out of the way. They're easy to store behind couches or under beds. Ours range in size and shape, but generally speaking, most will have one side as long as 30" - 36". Pillows will generally be the same fabric on both sides, unless specified, because we think this looks better. When we do back pillows differently, it's either to back a piece of weaving or to make the pillow reversible. Most pillows are zippered for easy cleaning.

We use clean feather filling, unless requested otherwise, which we sometimes boost with either foam or organic materials for springiness. We also offer organic bamboo filling for an extra surcharge of $20. We have experimented with new natural fillings such as kapok, bamboo and natural latex, but we currently feel that not only are these materials still very expensive, they also do not perform nearly well enough - they are hard, lumpy, very heavy or feel like bad foam. These are well-known issues in the industry. We are eagerly waiting for the second generation of sustainable fillings to solve some of the problems of the first. Please ask us if you prefer bamboo or a combination of bamboo and feather or foam.
